Mathematical Competition “EVERESTI” Went Beyond Tbilisi Borders





On 12 December 2009, the Second tour of Mathematical Competition “EVERESTI” initiated and organized by “School XXI Century” took place in Tbilisi.

Alongside with Tbilisi schools students, the tour was also participated by the winners of the first tour of the newly built Tserovani School.

Mathematical Competition initiated by “School XXI Century” which was traditionally participated by Tbilisi schools, thanks to the organizers’ initiative and TBC Fund support, went beyond its borders - the competition was joined by Tserovani IDP Settlement students.

The first tour of the competition in Tserovani was held in November in parallel to Tbilisi one, the winners were identified, rewarded and got chance to try their best in the second-final tour.

Additionally, the 27 IDP students - first tour winners who were brought to Tbilisi to participate in the second-final tour got a chance to take part in the entertaining activities specially planed for them by the competition organizers.

“TBC Fund”, which built the school for Tserovani IDP children, is still continuing to enhance its further functioning in terms of supporting different academic activities to ensure the students proper and harmonic development.
